PhD research: The Chinese translations of Suhṛllekha (勸誡王頌)

Our fourth-year Sinology PhD student at ELTE Faculty of Humanities, Doctoral School of Linguistics and Assistant Lecturer, Dávid Jónás is researching three Chinese translations of Nāgārjuna's Suhṛllekha that, up until now, was believed to be lost in Sanskrit. In his dissertation, Dávid Jónás analyzes the translations of Guṇavarman (Qiunabamo 求那跋摩), Sanghavarman (Sengqiebamo 僧伽跋摩) and Yijing 義淨.
